Puran Poli - An Indian delicacy made by stuffing soft whole wheat dough with soft cooked yellow lentils, jaggery/brown sugar, cardamom, nutmeg and saffron. It is then rolled thin and cooked on a griddle with lots of ghee to make it into a golden brown, flavorful and aromatic flat bread. When torn apart it has a ooey-gooey perfection. Thin wheat flour rotis with a delicious puran stuffing in the middle.

Instructions to make Puran poli:
  1. Soak chana dal for 4 hours.steam it in pressure cooker with half cup milk.
  2. Grind it.now heat some ghee in a kdhaii and put the batter in it put all remaining milk and let it dry on flame. Stir it gradually.
  3. Take flour in a tray add some ghee for moyan and knead it and keep aside.
  4. When chana dal becomes dry add sugar and try 2 make dry it again bcoz adding sugar makes it lean.cool down the filling.add chironjee.
  5. Now take a peda of dough and press on pastry board put some filling in center and close the ends.make chapati form and fry it on tva with help of ghee.
  6. Serve with white butter
