  2. Make ready 4-5 Green chilli
  3. Take 1 big onion
  4. Get 1/2 table spoon ginger garlic paste
  5. Make ready 4-5 curry leaves
  6. Prepare Handful coriander leaves
  7. Take Pinch turmeric
  8. Take 1 table spoon chilli powder
  9. Prepare 1/2 table spoon coriander powder
  10. Get 1/2 table spoon cumin powder
  11. Get 1/2 table spoon mustard and cumin seeds
  12. Prepare to taste Salt
  13. Get 1/2 glass milk

Heat oil in a pan & add mustard seeds,when they start crackling add channa dal, urad dal, cumin seeds, curry leaves & stir fry till dal changes color. Add chillies, ginger , broad beans, tomato, salt & mix well. Cover & cook on medium flame till beans are cooked. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder & mix well.

Instructions to make Broad beans curry (chikkudu Kaya kura):
  1. Boiled broad beans
  2. Slice onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves
  3. Grind Green chilli
  4. Take a pan and keep it on the stove. Pour oil, add mustard and cumin seeds, once it starts crackle add onions, curry leaves, salt and turmeric. Roast it in low flame. Add ginger garlic paste, add chilli paste. Roast it.
  5. Once the onion getting brown add broad beans, keep in the low flame. Close it with a lid. Again open it, add chilli powder, mix it, add coriander powder, cumin powder. Mix it. Once the Curry cooked properly add milk.
  6. Once the milk evoporates add coriander leaves, mix it. Take it into a bowl and serve hot with rice /chapathi /roti.
